WordPress Site 404

If immediately after installing WordPress on a site you receive a 404 when using SSO, please:

1. Check if your server is running OpenLiteSpeed.
2. If your server is running OpenLiteSpeed, run “docker restart openlitespeed” on the server.

The WordPress SSO relies on the WordPress .htaccess being in place. OpenLiteSpeed so it doesn’t auto reload .htaccess files meaning some tool including SSO won’t work immediately after installation.

Tip

If you’re using this server for mass hosting, I would recommend switching to Apache or commercial LiteSpeed as OpenLiteSpeed .htaccess behaviour can be confusing to end users.
